I spent last Friday afternoon wandering through High Park with my good friend Miss Aria Evans. Along with sharing quite a lovely picnic we also stopped to take a few pictures to add to our head shot collections. Below are a few of my favourites that she took of me.
What You Get When You Put a Dancer in a Bathtub
I somewhat secretly mentioned this project about a month ago but never went into much detail. I am currently working on a new dance video with my good friend and fellow artist Aria Evans. We officially completed the first version of the work entitled Deluge this past week and it is currently entered in Dansens Dag’s 60 seconds dance competition.
Gratefulness Challenge Day 10
Day ten! Not only have I made it to double digits (remember how exciting that was as a kid?) but I am a third of the way through my gratefulness challenge! Haven’t run out of things to be grateful for yet. Here’s to another 20 awesome days!
1. The generosity of others: I am always amazed at how much people are willing to give for nothing. Considering we live in a culture that is frequently described as selfish, self centred, and financially driven, the fact that I still see so much generosity makes me really glad. Perhaps I simply choose to see the world through a very optimistic lens, but I’d rather believe that people just genuinely enjoy giving.
