InFORMING Content is a workshop run by Volcano Theatre where over the course of a weekend young artists are given the opportunity to create work based on the research by Jackman Humanities Institute fellows. On Friday evening we were invited to hear talks by five different fellows who had been spending the year conducting research around the topic of food.
Tomorrow, March 21st, will be my 23rd birthday. Though the number is not one that usually holds much significance, my 23rd years has probably been one of my most eventful ones to date. More changes, challenges, adventures and accomplishments have filled 23 than I could have ever imagined. I started flipping through my calendar from the past 12 months and here are a few memorable moments I came across. It isn’t a complete list, simply a sampling of all the amazing things that have blessed my latest year of life.

60×60 Dance Toronto features one minute compositions by Canadian composers. 60 Toronto based choreographers were invited to created dances to these pieces of music and they will all be performed one right after the other this Sunday at the Al Green Theatre. All genres of music and styles of dance will be represented, so it is sure to be an eclectic and thrilling one hour extravaganza!
